Posters II

Cultural Issues

In this project, the objective was to create a poster that delivers a compelling message, informing and motivating viewers to actively contribute towards an environmental issue. Key elements such as impactful imagery, bold typography, and thought-provoking graphics are employed to effectively communicate this imperative message.

For my set of "HOLLOW" posters, the assignment entailed selecting a single word that embodies the essence of a chosen mental wellness issue, and crafting a visually captivating design where various elements interact with this word to convey its profound meaning and emotional impact, inspired by the graphic artist Benedicto Cernal III.

Our class was asked by the Social Services Department to design a compelling poster promoting the Human Rights Fair at Missouri Western University, with a focus on highlighting a specific human rights issue. I chose mass shootings in America and the increasing limitations on a Women's Right to choose.
